English Village Paju Camp is located in Paju City, which is in Gyeonggi Province. Our closest town is Gumcheon( Goom-chy-on, W8,000 by taxi), which is one hour from Seoul by train. Our closest major city is Ilsan (Eel-sn, W25,000 by taxi), which has Daewha Station (Tay - wah Yeok), and is a one-hour Subway ride from Seoul.
At the other end of Ilsan is La Festa, which is a huge shopping complex with 2 multiplex cinemas, and a range of restaurants, stores, and bars, including foreign fare like Outback, Friday's, KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and others.

Local – Heyri Art Village, located across the street, features many galleries & restaurants.
DMZ – Demilitarized Zone, the area between North & South Korea, a no man’s land, but a great experience.

Seoul – Capital City of Korea – the following are a list of some interesting areas of Seoul
Itaewon – an area close to the American army base, lots of shopping, pubs & a great experience, all in English.
Insadong – the Buddhist area, lost of souvenirs & instruments, Great vibe & feeling.
Sungnyemun – a great place for shopping
Hongdae/Sinchon – the University area, clubs, pubs and trendy shopping, lots of funky young people.
RoyalPlace(Gyungbokgung) – a beautiful and historic place
Namsan (Seoul) Tower – a tall tower in a beautiful part of Seoul
Yongsan Electronics Market –for all your computer and electronics needs, $3 for new DVD’s, cameras.
Goyang is the closest city to Paju. Goyang includes the new city of Ilsan, which is connected to Seoul via Seoul Subway Line 3. Goyang borders Seoul on the south; the Bukhan Mountain Fortress lies along a small portion of this border. From Daewha station, you can take the subway to Seoul for W2,000 or less. The subway closes at about 11pm.

Cafeteria The cafeteria is open for lunch daily from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., and for supper Monday through -Saturday from 5:30p.m.-7:00 p.m. You may use meal tickets for cafeteria food.
English Village Restaurants - You may use meal tickets for a W4,000 credit at campus restaurants. Here is a list of some of the food and beverage combinations you can get for W4,000:
